Buy your July 3 & 4 Lander Pioneer Days Rodeo tickets online now!
June 21, 2026 

Lander, WY  - The 132nd Fremont Toyota Pioneer Days Rodeo, known as “The World’s Oldest Paid Rodeo,” will be held July 3rd and 4th in Lander, Wyoming. Online ticket sales are available now at LOTRA.org to avoid the lines at the rodeo. Full-price tickets are sold online and at the rodeo ticket booths on July 3 and 4. Rodeo fans can also purchase discounted pre-sale tickets from local merchants throughout Lander.

The July 3 and 4 rodeo festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with youth pre-rodeo events including mini-bull riding, junior barrels, and junior steer riding. The Grand Entry begins at 7:00 p.m., followed by traditional western rodeo events and the popular Wind River Hotel & Casino Indian Relay Races featuring men’s, women’s, and youth teams.

Don't miss one of Wyoming’s most iconic Independence Day traditions, complete with rodeo action, relay races, and a full day of Pioneer Days celebrations on July 4.

Lander Pioneer Days Rodeo Contestant Signup is June 20, 12–5 p.m.
June 14, 2026

Lander, WY  - Contestants planning to compete in the Fremont Toyota Lander Pioneer Days Rodeo must enter on June 20 between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. by calling designated Lander Old Timer’s Rodeo Association (LOTRA) phone numbers. Contestants will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional contestant information is available through LOTRA.

More than $20,000 in added contestant money will be paid out during the 132nd Fremont Toyota Pioneer Days Rodeo. Added money will be available across roughstock, steer wrestling, women’s ranch bronc riding, and Indian Relay Race events, making this year’s rodeo one of the most competitive in recent memory.

The rodeo will be held July 3 and 4 in Lander, Wyoming, continuing the tradition of “The World’s Oldest Paid Rodeo.”

2026 Pioneer Days Rodeo Royalty Crowned
May 22, 2026

Lander, WY  -  The Lander Pioneer Days Royalty Contest was held May 21 at the Lander Old Timers Rodeo Association Indoor Arena. Kaitlyn Snyder was crowned Queen, Rylee Norris was named Jr. Queen, Laramie Penn was selected as Princess, and Emmy Osborne was chosen as First Attendant.

The newly crowned royalty will represent Lander Pioneer Days during community celebrations, including the July 4 parade and the 132nd Pioneer Days Rodeo on July 3 and 4. Winners received custom rodeo chaps, belt buckles, scholarships, and additional prizes recognizing their accomplishments and community involvement.

The event was held alongside the Lander Valley Cattlewomen’s Little Prince and Little Princess Contest, celebrating the next generation of Pioneer Days participants.
