SIGN UP ONLINE FOR THE 2024 / 2025 SEASON
Pay Upfront Online or in Installments
It's time to sign up for your '24 - '25 LOTRA indoor barn membership! Good news---we are able to keep the membership prices the same as they have been for the past several years because we had a successful July 3rd & 4th Pioneer Days Rodeo. The new membership takes effect on November 1, 2024 and is valid through October 31, 2025.

You will receive a copy of the rules when you join and your membership cards are sent out. Not only did LOTRA have a very successful 130th Pioneer Days Rodeo as our main barn fundraiser, but as a 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit organization, we also participated in the Lander Community Foundation’s Challenge for Charities. LOTRA received donations and matching funds to help us make improvements to our barn and program.
If you have been using our barn this past year, you know our indoor arena ground is getting groomed a minimum of 5 times per week with our Black Widow groomer. This has improved all of our riding experiences with better footing and dust control. There are many events being planned in the arena for our members this winter, including 7 Memorial Ropings, 11 new Barrel-Pole-Breakaway Jackpots, 10 cowhorse-type practices with cattle (non-roping), and the Tuesday/Thursday night weekly team/breakaway roping practices.

Hope to see you at the barn next year for another exciting, fun-filled winter!

CHALLENGE FOR CHARITIES FUNDRAISER
This Year's Challenge for Charities Was a Huge Success!
Thanks to our donors, and everyone else who helped with this fundraising initiative
As a 501(c)3 Not-for-Profit organization LOTRA participated in the Lander Community Foundation’s Challenge for Charities fundraiser this year. We received more than $1500 in donations and matching funds to continue our work to host Lander’s annual Pioneer Days Rodeo and support our indoor barn programs. We thank our generous donors and the Lander Community Foundation, who made this possible. We plan to participate again next year, with a goal to double the amount raised in 2025.

ABOUT LOTRA
The Lander Old Timer's Rodeo Association (LOTRA) is a cornerstone of Lander, Wyoming, providing a year-round indoor arena for rodeo enthusiasts and riders. Dedicated to preserving the traditions of rodeo and fostering a deep sense of community, LOTRA offers educational programs, competitions, and events that celebrate the rich cultural heritage of rodeo and a love for riding. As a hub for both young and seasoned riders, LOTRA continues to cultivate skills, friendships, and a passion for horseback riding in Lander and the surrounding communities.

2024 PIONEER DAYS RODEO RECAP!
Thanks for a Great Rodeo — See You Next Year!
The 2024 Pioneer Days Rodeo was one for the books—what an amazing celebration to commemorate 130 years of Western heritage at the world's first paid rodeo in beautiful Lander, Wyoming. A huge thanks to this year's rodeo spectators, LOTRA volunteers, our community's sponsors who make this event possible, and our rodeo contestants who competed at this year's event. This year's rodeo set records, hosting a crowd of 4000+ on July 3rd and more than 5000 on the 4th.
We handed out $10,000 more in prizes this year to our top performers across fourteen adult and three youth events.
Thank you again to all who contributed and participated in this well-loved Lander tradition. We already can't wait for next year!
